I was in the first generation of my family to attend University. I realised that I didn’t know what I wanted to do so I took the opportunity to shadow people and volunteered/did work experience in a hospital, GP practice, school, IT department and it was only when my dentist convinced me to spend a day with him that I realise this could be something I really enjoy. Since University, I have volunteered in Greece and Vietnam and carried out further training in Nottingham, London and Wakefield. I am grateful for all the mentors who have helped me along the way. Being blessed with achieving some of my goals, my new passion is helping others achieve their goals. I especially want to help others from disadvantaged background by putting them in touch with mentors in their chosen fields to help you at all stages of your journey, from deciding which career to pick as a teenager to deciding on the next stage in your career as an established professional.
